by using prowly, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use the bot.

donated api keys

by submitting an api key via the /donate command, you confirm that:

you are the owner of the key and have the right to share it
you understand the key will be stored on our server and used to power ai responses across all servers prowly operates in
you accept that your key may be used to process requests from other users, including ai translation, ocr, summarization, explanation, and fact-checking
you understand that google's gemini api terms of service hold you responsible for usage made under your key

you can revoke your donation at any time by deleting or regenerating the key in google ai studio.

acceptable use

prowly is a utility bot. don't abuse it. specifically:

do not use prowly to download, redistribute, or facilitate piracy of copyrighted content
do not use prowly to harass, dox, threaten, or harm other users
do not attempt to exploit, jailbreak, or bypass any safety measures
do not spam commands or intentionally overload the bot
do not use prowly to facilitate any activity that violates US, Canadian, or your local laws
follow discord's terms of service and community guidelines at all times

content & third-party services

prowly interacts with third-party services including:

google gemini api -- for AI translation, OCR, summarization, explanation, and fact-checking
youtube, tiktok, instagram, facebook -- for media downloads via yt-dlp
roblox apis, rotector, ropro, tasebot -- for user and group lookups
steam api -- for game search and pricing
frankfurter api -- for currency exchange rates
safebooru, thecatapi, urban dictionary, downdetector -- for image search and information

your use of these features is subject to the respective third-party terms. prowly is not responsible for content hosted on external platforms.

downloads

the /download command is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to download any content. prowly does not host media files -- temporary uploads to litterbox expire automatically.

data & privacy

prowly stores minimal data: discord usernames/ids, server info, message context for AI features, and user-created tags. see the privacy policy for full details. by using the bot, you consent to this data collection.

enforcement

we reserve the right to restrict or remove access to prowly for any user or server violating these terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice. this includes blacklisting from AI features or complete bot removal.

disclaimer

prowly is provided as-is with no warranties. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or outdated. downloads may fail due to external service changes. do not rely on the bot for critical decisions. we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the bot.

changes

these terms may be updated at any time. continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. significant changes will be announced via the bot's support server.
